Wydad Athletic Club will conclude its training camp tomorrow, Friday, before heading to the United States next Tuesday for the FIFA Club World Cup, scheduled to take place from June 14 to July 13, 2025.
The red team is finishing its closed training camp at the Mohammed VI Football Complex in Salé, which began last Sunday. During this camp, players and technical staff benefited from modern facilities and optimal conditions in preparation for this major global event.
During this training period, the Moroccan representative played two friendly matches against Spanish club Sevilla and Portuguese club Porto, both of which ended with a score of 1-0 in favor of the European teams, serving to assess player readiness and team cohesion.
Wydad is placed in Group G of the global championship alongside Manchester City, Juventus, and Al Ain. The club will begin its journey by facing European champions Manchester City on June 18, starting at 5 PM Moroccan time (GMT+1).
