The government council will hold a meeting next Thursday, chaired by Prime Minister Aziz Akhannouch, to discuss several legal reforms and international agreements.
The Prime Minister’s office announced that the council will start its agenda by examining two draft laws. The first concerns the ratification of a decree amending the law establishing the National Agency for Water and Forests, while the second involves supplementing the law on reforming regional investment centers and creating unified regional investment committees.
The council’s agenda continues with two draft decrees: the first aims to establish regulatory measures for engineers and architects at the Ministry of Justice, and the second proposes amendments to the decree outlining the responsibilities of higher education institutions and equivalent national diplomas.
Subsequently, the council will review a bilateral agreement on mutual recognition of driving licenses between the Kingdom of Morocco and the Republic of Chad, which was signed in Dakhla on August 14, 2024, along with a draft law to approve this agreement.
The meeting will conclude with a review of several appointment proposals for senior positions, in accordance with the provisions of Article 92 of the Constitution.
