The government council, headed by Aziz Akhannouch, will convene next Thursday to discuss a series of draft laws, decrees, and agreements.
The meeting will begin with a review of a draft law concerning the establishment of the National Agency for Child Protection, along with its affiliated child protection centers and specialized social care institutions for children.
The council will also examine three draft decrees, the first of which pertains to amending the decree regarding the application of traffic code provisions related to vehicles. The second relates to the establishment and organization of the National Higher Institute of Music and Choreographic Arts, while the third focuses on amending the decree concerning the powers and organization of the Ministry of Economy and Finance.
Continuing its agenda, the council will discuss an agreement on air services between the Government of the Kingdom of Morocco and the Government of the Republic of Côte d’Ivoire, signed in Laayoune on January 17, 2025, alongside a draft law approving the mentioned agreement.
The council will conclude its session by considering proposals for appointments to senior positions in accordance with the provisions of Article 92 of the Constitution.
