Sla.. Arrest of a Wanted Man Brandishing a Weapon and the Number of Citizens
Elements of the police in the Batana security area of Sla arrested a 31-year-old man with a criminal record on the evening of Sunday, June 22, after he appeared in a video posted on social media threatening passersby with a white weapon in a public street.
The security services responded swiftly to the video, launching investigations and field inquiries that allowed them to identify and apprehend the suspect on the same day. During the arrest process, the suspect exhibited violent resistance, forcing one of the officers to use a taser to subdue him and seize the white weapon in his possession.
Investigations revealed that the individual was wanted nationally in a previous case involving assault with a weapon. He has been placed under police custody under the supervision of the competent public prosecutor to complete the investigation and determine the circumstances and motives behind these criminal acts.
