Saudi Arabia Launches New Umrah Season and Facilitates Visa Issuance through “Nusk”

Saudi Arabia has announced the beginning of the Umrah season for the new Hijri year, with the opening of visa issuance for those wishing to enter the Kingdom, as part of efforts to ease the process for pilgrims.

The Ministry of Hajj and Umrah confirmed that the issuance of permits for incoming pilgrims starts today, Wednesday, via the Nusk application, which serves as the unified digital platform for providing government services for pilgrims.

The Nusk application allows for easy booking and permit issuance, along with a range of digital services that enhance the Umrah experience.

The ministry stated that technical and operational preparations for the new season began early in collaboration with relevant authorities to ensure smooth procedures and continuous improvement.

Efforts are ongoing to expand the range of digital services and awareness in various languages, with a focus on achieving the highest standards of safety and comfort for pilgrims, reflecting Saudi Arabia’s commitment to providing the best services for visitors to the holy sites.
