Morocco’s national team secured a well-deserved victory over their Tunisian counterparts, winning 2-0 in a friendly match held on Friday evening at the Grand Stadium of Fez.
Achraf Hakimi opened the scoring in the 79th minute, followed by Ayoub El Kaabi doubling the lead in stoppage time of the second half, taking advantage of confusion in Tunisia’s defense.
The match saw heightened tension in the closing minutes following the dismissal of a Tunisian player for attempting to deceive the referee by claiming a fall inside the penalty area.
The Moroccan team dominated most of the match, successfully capitalizing on the opportunities that arose, while the Tunisian side struggled to pose any real threat to Morocco’s goal.
