Kénitra’s Ibn Tofail University Tops Moroccan Universities in QS World University Rankings 2026
Ibn Tofail University in Kénitra has entered a new phase of academic excellence after being ranked for the first time in the “QS World University Rankings 2026,” one of the most prestigious global university rankings, which announced its results on Thursday, June 19, 2025.
The university achieved the top position nationally, competing with thousands of universities worldwide. The ranking covered 8,467 universities from 106 countries and was based on precise criteria, including research quality, academic distinction, innovation, and international openness.
This new achievement comes just days after Ibn Tofail University was also included in the “Times Higher Education” ranking, reflecting the university’s dynamic progress in education, research, and international collaboration.
