El Fizazi: Hamouchi is a National Pride and the French Medal is a Response to Traitors Abroad
In a recent appearance on the program “Without Sugarcoating” hosted by journalist Redouane Ramdani on Med Radio, Sheikh Mohammed El Fizazi praised Abdellatif Hamouchi, the Director General of National Security and the Director General of Territorial Surveillance, calling him a security pride for the Kingdom of Morocco. He noted that receiving the highest honor from the French Republic underscores Hamouchi’s international standing and counters the misinformation propagated by Morocco’s adversaries abroad.
El Fizazi emphasized that the French authorities’ recognition of Hamouchi was not a coincidence but a crown on an extraordinary professional journey and an active contribution to regional and international security, particularly in the context of security cooperation with Paris in preparation for the Olympic Games.
He added, “This medal is the best answer to the traitors abroad who are trying by all means to tarnish the image of this honest and capable man.” He highlighted that Hamouchi enjoys the respect and affection of all Moroccans, except for what he referred to as "Hicham Gerando, the ungrateful traitor," a reference to a fugitive from justice convicted in cases of extortion, defamation, and terrorism, who persistently attacks Moroccan institutions.
El Fizazi confirmed that Hamouchi has the personal trust of His Majesty King Mohammed VI, considering this trust the highest honor and proof of his integrity and effectiveness. He stressed that those who doubt Hamouchi’s competence are either resentful or ignorant of the security reality that the Kingdom has experienced thanks to the stability of its institutions and the vigilance of its personnel.
