Reliable journalistic sources have reported that Real Madrid’s management has begun serious steps to secure their Moroccan player, Brahim Diaz, for the long term, through advanced negotiations to renew his current contract.
According to Spanish newspaper “Marca,” the Moroccan star has expressed his initial agreement to remain at the royal club, where it is expected that he will extend his contract, which is set to expire in 2027, for at least five additional seasons.
The arrival of new coach Xabi Alonso has played a pivotal role in convincing the player, as the Spanish coach considers Diaz a key component in his plans for the upcoming season, further increasing the player’s desire to stay with the team.
Diaz is currently preparing to compete in the Club World Cup alongside his teammates, where they will face Saudi Arabia’s Al Hilal next Wednesday in the tournament’s first match.
