Discussions Between Mr. Ludi and His Rwandan Counterpart

In the framework of enhancing military cooperation among African nations, Abdelatif Ludi, the Minister Delegate to the Head of Government responsible for National Defense Administration, chaired discussions on Wednesday in Rabat with his Rwandan counterpart, Juvenal Marizamunda, in the presence of the Rwandan Ambassador to Morocco.

The signed agreement focuses on strengthening cooperation in several vital areas, including military training, joint exercises, logistical support, technical assistance, and the exchange of expertise in military health. It also includes the establishment of a joint military committee that will hold regular meetings in the capitals, Rabat and Kigali, to follow up on the implementation of cooperation terms and explore future prospects.

During the talks, the two sides discussed ways to deepen the strategic partnership between Morocco and Rwanda in military and security fields, emphasizing the pivotal role that both countries play in promoting security and stability on the African continent. The discussion also highlighted the King’s pioneering initiatives in South-South cooperation and African regional integration.

At the conclusion of the meeting, the officials expressed satisfaction with the positive outcomes achieved, reaffirming their mutual commitment to continue strengthening the friendship and cooperation between the two countries in military matters and other areas of mutual interest.
