The Kenitra club, participating in the second division of the professional league, officially announced on Wednesday, June 26, 2025, its contract with Tunisian coach Tarik El-Hadhiri to lead the team during the upcoming sports season.
This contract comes as part of the team’s efforts to enhance its ambition to return to the first division after several consecutive seasons of fluctuating results. The club’s management is relying on the Tunisian coach’s experience in Maghreb and Gulf competitions to restore the technical balance of the team.
This step followed the recent meeting held by club president Hakim Doumo with members of the managing board, which aimed to establish a clear strategy and comprehensive vision for the next season, focusing on restructuring the team and strengthening its technical framework to ensure stability and achieve positive outcomes.
Tarik El-Hadhiri boasts an extensive professional record, highlighted by his leadership of Al-Bateeh Club in the UAE to a historic promotion to the Professional League, in addition to his experiences in Tunisian, Saudi, and Libyan leagues. He holds the highest coaching licenses (CAF A, AFC A, UEFA A).
The contract signed with El-Hadhiri includes a critical condition stipulating that he can bring in his own technical staff, which consists of an assistant coach, a physical trainer, and a goalkeeping coach. The club management has agreed to this condition as part of its commitment to providing all necessary technical conditions to achieve the set goals.
The club’s management emphasized that the appointment of El-Hadhiri is part of a comprehensive project to rebuild the team on professional foundations, in preparation for a new start in the 2025-2026 sports season.
