Trump: Close to Agreement with Iran
American President Donald Trump expressed his belief on Thursday that the United States is close to reaching an agreement with Iran regarding its nuclear program.
During a speech in Qatar, part of his Gulf tour, Trump stated, “I want Iran to become a great country, but it cannot possess nuclear weapons.” He added, “I believe we are close to an agreement with Iran.”
He also noted that “Tehran should thank Emir Tamim, as others want us to deliver a severe blow to Iran, unlike Qatar.”
