The Rabat Court condemns the traitor Hicham Girando to 15 years in prison in a terrorism-related case.

The Rabat Court of Appeal issued a contumacious sentence of 15 years of enforced imprisonment against Hicham Girando on Monday, May 8, after he was prosecuted in a case related to terrorism.

This judicial decision came based on a complaint filed by Najim Bensami, the former Public Prosecutor at the Casablanca Court of Appeal, against the defendant, who faced serious charges.

According to media sources, the judicial panel responsible for the case at the Primary Criminal Chamber found Girando guilty of forming a terrorist group, planning acts that seriously threaten public order through intimidation, threats, and violence, as well as inciting terrorist acts.

This case is just one in a series of allegations against Girando, with reports indicating that dozens of complaints have been lodged against him in court, accusing him of extortion and spreading false information via electronic platforms, linking his name to various criminal cases at the national level.

Girando, who lived in Canada, fled after facing legal actions in Canadian courts before moving to Turkey and then Indonesia, where he currently resides, avoiding any potential judicial cooperation with Moroccan authorities.

With this ruling, the court has initially settled the case, awaiting the next stages of the legal process.
