Open Days of the National Security in El Jadida Attract 350,000 Visitors on Their First Day
On Friday, May 17, the city of El Jadida witnessed an unprecedented turnout at the sixth edition of the Open Days organized by the General Directorate of National Security. By 4 PM, the number of visitors reached 350,000, a clear indication of the success of this event, which continues until May 21 at the Mohammed VI Exhibition Center, under the slogan “Proud to Serve an Ancient Nation and a Glorious Throne.”
This edition coincides with the celebration of the sixty-ninth anniversary of the establishment of national security, aiming to enhance bridges of trust and communication between the security institution and citizens. Through live field demonstrations, awareness workshops, and interactive pavilions, the significant progress made by the security institution in terms of training, technology, and preventive strategy is showcased.
The event embodies the policy of openness within security services, enabling citizens to communicate directly with those in the national security force, pose their inquiries to officials from various departments, learn about the work of several security units, and engage with the public presentations.
This edition is expected to attract a wide audience from different regions of the kingdom, reaffirming the distinguished status of the national security apparatus and its pivotal role in serving the country and its citizens.
The event also provides an opportunity to honor the men and women of security for their efforts in maintaining public safety and enhancing the sense of security within Moroccan society.
This edition follows the remarkable success of the Agadir version, which attracted over two million visitors, reflecting the growing interest of citizens in this annual event.
