The Casablanca Stock Exchange started trading today, Friday, on a positive note, with its main index “MAZ” registering a gain of 0.49 percent, settling at 18,221.27 points.

 

The “MASI.20” index, which reflects the performance of 20 listed companies, rose by 0.66 percent to 1,488.22 points, while the MASI.ESG index, showcasing the best-rated companies, grew by 0.56 percent to reach 1,240.91 points.

 

In contrast, the “MASI Mid and Small Cap” index, which tracks the performance of small and medium-sized enterprises, decreased by 0.08 percent to 1,759.26 points.

 

Yesterday, Thursday, the MAZ index closed with a profit of 0.59 percent.
