The Tunisian African Club sent a special congratulatory message to the Moroccan Wydad Athletic Club on the occasion of its 88th anniversary, which falls on May 8 each year.
The Tunisian club published a post on its official Facebook account expressing pride in the fraternal relationship between the two clubs, stating: “On the occasion of the 88th anniversary of the founding of Wydad Casablanca, we congratulate our historic brother on this happy occasion, and we extend our congratulations to Wydad fans both inside and outside Morocco, wishing the club further success and brilliance. Happy anniversary, Wydad.”
This congratulations highlight the deep sports and historical ties that bind the Maghreb clubs and reflect the spirit of mutual respect and appreciation between the two esteemed clubs. This year, Wydad’s anniversary coincides with its match against Chabab Salmi in the 29th round of the “Inwi” Professional Championship this evening.
