Real Madrid has officially announced today the signing of English player Trent Alexander Arnold from Liverpool during the upcoming summer transfer window, aiming to strengthen the team’s lineup.
The deal sees Real Madrid acquire Arnold as a free transfer after his contract with Liverpool expired at the end of the current 2024/2025 season, with the player reportedly declining an extension.
Arnold has spent his entire career at Liverpool, starting from his youth days, moving up to the Under-18 team in 2015, and making his way to the first team in 2016, where he continued until 2025.
Real Madrid confirmed in a recent official statement on the club’s website that they successfully secured Arnold’s signing in the summer transfer window, although no details regarding the contract were disclosed.
According to recent Spanish media reports, Arnold is set to sign a contract for the next five seasons with Real Madrid, as the club hopes to keep him for as long as possible.
