"Railways" Ensures Travel for Eid

The National Office of Railways (ONCF) has announced a special train schedule for Eid al-Adha, running from Friday, May 30 to Sunday, June 15, 2025. This initiative aims to facilitate passenger transportation under the best conditions, anticipating the usual surge in travel during this period.

According to a press release received by Hespress, the program includes the addition of approximately 237 extra trains daily across the entire network, with enhanced services on main lines.

For the "Al Boraq" trains, services will be available around the clock from 6 AM to 10 PM (except after 1 PM), connecting Tangier to Kenitra, Rabat, and Casablanca during peak days. Additionally, the capacity of the trains will be increased during high-demand periods.

As for the "Atlas" trains, capacity has also been expanded, with additional trains programmed on the main lines such as Marrakech – Casablanca – Fes, Oujda, Nador, Khouribga, and Safi.

In this regard, ONCF stated that it will increase the number of staff responsible for assisting and guiding passengers both within stations and on trains. Technical teams will also be on duty 24/7 to ensure passengers travel under optimal conditions.

The office has urged its customers to purchase their round-trip tickets in advance before the travel date to avoid long queues at stations and secure seats on trains. Tickets can be purchased through various approved sales channels.
