Following the qualification of Moroccan star Achraf Hakimi and his team Paris Saint-Germain for the Champions League final after defeating Arsenal, Moroccan professionals have officially secured spots in all three finals of European competitions for the second consecutive season.
Achraf Hakimi will represent Morocco in the most important continental final, where he will face his former club Inter Milan. The Moroccan international aims to achieve his second Champions League title and the first in Paris Saint-Germain’s history.
In the Europa League, the final spot will be exclusively Moroccan as Marwan Saïl, forward for Athletic Bilbao, goes head-to-head with Noussair Mazraoui, defender for Manchester United, in the return leg of the semifinals today. Notably, Mazraoui holds a significant advantage after his team won the first leg 3-0.
In the UEFA Europa Conference League, the semifinals have also resulted in a Moroccan clash between Abde Ezzalzouli, winger for Real Betis, and Amine Rehahi, midfielder for Fiorentina. Ezzalzouli enters the return match today with a slight advantage after his team won the first leg 2-1.
Thus, Moroccan players have officially ensured their presence in the finals of the Champions League, the Europa League, and the Europa Conference League, marking a significant achievement that reinforces their continued success in major European competitions.
