Iran’s Foreign Minister Visits Riyadh and Doha

Iranian Foreign Minister Abbas Araqchi is set to visit Saudi Arabia and Qatar on Saturday, prior to U.S. President Donald Trump’s planned tour of the region next week, the Iranian Foreign Ministry announced on Friday.

A statement published on the ministry’s website indicated that Araqchi will first head to Riyadh “to meet with senior Saudi officials and hold talks with them,” followed by a trip to Doha “to participate in the Arab-Iranian dialogue conference.”
