The committee reported that “legal measures have been taken against the suspect, with a criminal investigation opened under part one of Article 30 and subsection ‘A’ of part two of Article 205 of the Russian Criminal Code, which pertains to crimes related to preparing for terrorist activities.”
The competent court has also decided to accept the prosecution’s request to place him in pre-trial detention until the investigations are completed.
