Founded in 2019 by teachers Wafa Benani, Youssef Nakhlah, and Osama Al-Abbassi, the Mikanato Association aims to promote music as a means of therapy, education, and human expression.
The association is known for its diverse musical activities, including operatic singing, Arab classical music, Andalusian, and French songs. It also provides high-quality vocal training for its choir members. Despite suspending its activities during the COVID-19 pandemic, the association made a strong comeback by organizing notable events such as the “Opera Night” in December 2024, a “Singing Workshop” in January 2025, and a “Musical Evening” in February of the same year.
