Boeing Secures Largest Aircraft Deal with Qatar
U.S. President Donald Trump announced on Wednesday that Qatar Airways has placed a “historic” order for 160 Boeing aircraft valued at over $200 billion, during the signing of a set of agreements in Doha alongside the Emir of Qatar.
Following the signing, Trump stated next to Emir Tamim bin Hamad Al Thani, “The value exceeds $200 billion, but it’s 160 aircraft. This is fantastic. It’s a record number.” He added, “This is the largest aircraft order in Boeing’s history. This is very good news.”
