Rachid Talbi Alami: The Authenticity Party Prepares to Lead the 2026 Government and Criticizes the Challenge from Some Parties Against the Judiciary
During a communication meeting for the National Assembly of Independent Party in the Guelmim-Oued Noun region, Rachid Talbi Alami, a member of the party’s political bureau, stated that some political parties, referring to the Justice and Development Party, have not respected the judiciary in their response to the report from the Court of Auditors regarding party finances.
Talbi Alami added that issuing statements against a constitutional institution like the Court of Auditors reflects, in his words, a lack of respect for judicial institutions, emphasizing that “those who do not respect the law cannot legislate.”
He noted that the National Assembly of Independent Party provided all the required data to the Court, commending the work of the party’s General Director, Mustapha Baitas, who oversaw the preparation of the financial file submitted to the Court of Auditors.
Talbi Alami explained that the party was able to overcome its internal conflicts after the 2016 elections by choosing Aziz Akhannouch as its president, which contributed to broadening the party’s organizational base by integrating about twenty political and social organizations.
He affirmed that the party continues its commitment to the government program, which focuses on priorities such as education, employment, and health, adding that the current government draws its legitimacy from the support of 70 percent of voters, which he considered a clear message to those who doubt the democratic choice.
In response to accusations that the party is launching an early electoral campaign, Talbi Alami stated that the communication activities carried out by the party fall within its constitutional duties to engage with citizens, pointing out that the National Assembly of Independent Party is preparing to return to the presidency of the government in 2026.
