Azzedine Akhnouch, the leader of the National Rally of Independents, presented the government’s achievements during a public meeting organized by the party’s leadership today in Laayoune under the slogan “Path of Achievements.” He emphasized that the governmental team operates in a harmonious collective spirit, implementing major projects that stem from the vision of His Majesty King Mohammed VI.
Akhnouch affirmed that the government, which emerged from a unified political majority, sets an example in coordination and fieldwork, prioritizing development over narrow partisan considerations. He stated, “We proudly present our accomplishments to the citizens because we know what we want and we work according to clear royal directives. We will not accept any disturbances; instead, we continue our battle against poverty and vulnerability with determination.”
In this context, he clarified that the “Path of Achievements” program aims not only to showcase accomplishments but also to listen to citizens and understand their true priorities, maintaining a continuous interaction with the pulse of society and its needs.
The Prime Minister criticized what he described as “targeted campaigns,” saying they aim to create disturbances for narrow political purposes, expressing astonishment that the government is attacked despite tangible progress in social and economic projects.
Speaking about national diplomacy, Akhnouch stressed that it is impossible to be in Laayoune without recalling the significant victories achieved by Moroccan diplomacy under the leadership of His Majesty the King. He considered this international momentum regarding the Moroccan Sahara an additional incentive to continue the developmental path and defend accomplishments.
He added that development projects in the southern provinces, particularly universities and specialized institutes, especially in the field of medical training, respond to the community’s demands and demonstrate the state’s commitment to these regions.
He also discussed major projects implemented in health, education, and social protection, highlighting that the “School of Leadership” program has brought about a qualitative shift in the education sector and is being gradually expanded for comprehensive improvement of the educational system nationwide.
In turn, party leaders and elected officials from the southern regions praised the results achieved, confirming that this party tour, which starts from the Laayoune-Sakia El Hamra region, underscores the special status of the southern provinces in the state’s priorities.
They indicated that the developmental and diplomatic dynamics in the area are the culmination of a strategic royal vision in which the government and national parties, particularly the National Rally of Independents, are engaged, continuing their path with confidence and determination, honoring a pledge made to the citizens.
