Akhannouch from Laayoune: Our True Battle Against Unemployment and Social Inequalities

- in Politics

Azziz Akhnouch, the leader of the National Rally of Independents party, affirmed during his participation in the second round of regional meetings for the “Achievements Path” program in the city of Laayoune that the government is engaged in a genuine battle against poverty, unemployment, insecurity, school dropout rates, and social inequalities. He emphasized that these issues have accumulated over the years and require ongoing mobilization and clear political will.

Akhnouch stressed, in front of more than 2,500 party activists in the Laayoune-Sakia El Hamra region, that the government majority, led by his party, is committed to continuing this social fight, in line with the royal directives aimed at meeting challenges and building a more just and advanced Morocco.

He pointed out that previous regional tours have contributed to establishing a culture of direct and ongoing communication between the party and the citizens, asserting that the essence of the “Achievements Path” lies in listening to the demands of citizens and translating them into real policies and programs.

He explained that the program is not just about showcasing achievements, but also creates a space for dialogue and exchanging views with citizens regarding development priorities at both local and national levels, with the goal of building the Morocco of the future with active participation from its citizens.

In this context, Akhnouch considered that this communicative dynamic reflects the constitutional role of political parties in framing, listening to, and engaging with societal issues. He confirmed that the party has followed this approach for years and does not wait for election seasons to connect with people or understand their priorities; rather, it sees this as a continuous commitment that cannot be postponed.
