After a remarkable season, Achraf Hakimi earns another award

Achraf Hakimi, a player for Paris Saint-Germain, has officially won the “Marc-Vivien Foé” award for the best African player in France’s Ligue 1 for the 2024/2025 season, in recognition of his impressive performances with his team.
This award is presented by French radio station “RFI” and is named after the late Cameroonian international midfielder Marc-Vivien Foé, who tragically passed away during a match in the Confederations Cup in 2003.
The Moroccan international scored 364 points, surpassing Nice’s Ivan Gisa, who ranked second with 165 points, while Strasbourg’s Habib Diallo came in third with 43 points.
Hakimi has had a successful season with his team, contributing to securing the Ligue 1 title, as well as reaching the finals of the UEFA Champions League and the French Cup.
The 26-year-old scored seven goals and provided 14 assists across all competitions, including four goals and eight assists in the domestic league.
