New Partnership to Enhance Social and Sports Services for National Security Employees in the South
On Tuesday morning, May 6, 2025, in Laayoune, a partnership agreement was signed between the Mohammed VI Foundation for Social Works of National Security Employees and the Agency for Economic and Social Revival and Development in the southern regions. The agreement aims to strengthen cooperation in improving infrastructure and social and sports facilities for police employees in the southern provinces.
The Agency for Economic and Social Revival and Development will contribute to enhancing the quality of social services provided to national security employees in the Laayoune Security District and the regional security in Dakhla. This collaboration includes the provision of modern sports halls and multifunctional social spaces at several national security headquarters in the cities of Laayoune, Smara, Dakhla, Boujdour, Guelmim, Tan-Tan, in addition to the border crossing at Guerguerat.
This agreement is part of the ongoing efforts by the General Directorate of National Security to modernize and develop security services in the southern regions. In addition to enhancing physical and logistical equipment, the directorate is focused on improving the social services offered to national security employees in these areas. This collaboration follows a similar agreement signed with the North Development Agency last April, with plans for another agreement with the East Development Agency.
