The Organization of Islamic Cooperation expresses its gratitude to His Majesty the King for his continued support of the holy city and its people.
The Secretary-General of the Organization of Islamic Cooperation, Hussein Ibrahim Taha, extended the organization’s thanks and appreciation to His Majesty King Mohammed VI, Chairman of the Al-Quds Committee, for his ongoing care and support for the holy city and its inhabitants.
This statement came during the Secretary-General’s meeting with Mohamed Salem Al-Sharqawi, Director of the Al-Quds Bayt Mal Agency, on Tuesday at the organization’s headquarters in Jeddah.
Hussein Ibrahim Taha also praised the role of the Al-Quds Committee in embodying the spirit of solidarity and shared Islamic support for Jerusalem, preserving its Arab identity, and enhancing the steadfastness and dignity of Jerusalemites.
In the same context, the Director of Al-Quds Bayt Mal Agency informed the Secretary-General about the agency’s social and humanitarian assistance efforts in the holy city, discussing the recent humanitarian initiative to support children in Gaza, particularly those who have lost limbs and orphans, in an effort to alleviate their suffering due to the war on the sector.
