Ministry Warns Against Misleading Hajj Advertisements

The Ministry of Endowments and Islamic Affairs has urged citizens to exercise caution regarding certain advertisements circulating about obtaining Hajj visas.

In a statement issued today, Tuesday, the ministry confirmed that the performance of Hajj rituals requires obtaining a Hajj visa through the electronic portal established by the relevant Saudi authorities, as part of the quota allocated to Morocco, either through official channels or organized by travel agencies.

The Ministry of Endowments and Islamic Affairs strongly advises citizens to be wary of some misleading advertisements related to this matter, emphasizing that any other type of visa, whether for tourism, visitation, or other purposes, does not grant the right to perform Hajj and does not enable holders to obtain Hajj permits (Nusuk), which only permit the performance of Hajj rituals.
