The Ministries of Digital Transition and Administrative Reform, and Investment, Public Policy Evaluation and Coordination signed three agreements yesterday, Tuesday, in Marrakech, with KPMG SASU, Arrow ECS Support Center Morocco, and 2T Services Maroc, regarding the establishment and expansion of competency and service centers, on the sidelines of the third edition of the “GITEX Africa” exhibition.

The two ministries stated in a joint statement that the first partnership concerns the establishment of a competency center dedicated to technological consulting, digital transition, and financial and tax consulting, as well as supporting merger and acquisition operations and restructuring.

The statement added that this project, which is part of the momentum generated by the new investment charter and national priorities related to digital sovereignty and human capital development, aims to create 150 direct jobs by 2029.

The second protocol relates to the expansion of the shared services center and the establishment of digital competency centers in the Casablanca-Settat region.

This partnership also outlines the creation of new technical and managerial competency centers in the digital field, which will enable the creation of 700 direct jobs by 2029.

The third commitment involves establishing a multidisciplinary outsourcing service center in Oujda, contributing to economic activation in the region.

This project, which is intended to enhance the outsourcing ecosystem in Morocco, aims to create 200 direct jobs by 2028, paving the way for a structured partnership between the public and private sectors to leverage digitization as an opportunity on a regional level.

The statement concluded that this initiative underscores the government’s commitment to enhancing economic integration in the regions, supporting local investors, and facilitating the qualification of Moroccan youth within a rapidly transforming service economy.
