As part of a series of interactive meetings organized by the Moroccan Ministry of Justice during the International Book and Publishing Fair, an intellectual meeting will take place on Saturday, April 19, in Hall A28 under the title “New Media and Its Role in Shaping Legal and Rights Awareness, and an Insight into Law 31.13 Regarding the Right to Access Information.”

The meeting is scheduled for 15:30 at the Ministry of Justice stand and will feature prominent figures from the media and legal fields:

Nogiba Jalal, journalist and editor-in-chief of Express TV.

Abdel Aziz Rmani, media expert and specialist in communication and social economy.

Abdel Kabir Khashishan, president of the National Syndicate of Moroccan Press.

Miloud Belqadi, university professor and head of the Moroccan Observatory for Strategic and Political Studies.

Ihsan El Hafidi, professor at the Faculty of Law at Hassan I University and a member of the Moroccan Observatory for Combating Defamation and Blackmail.

The meeting falls within the Ministry of Justice’s approach to engage with civil society and enhance legal culture through media, amidst rising public discourse on freedom of expression and institutional transparency.
