Mohammed Rayhi bids farewell to Mokouina with a heartfelt message after leaving Wydad.
Mohammed Rayhi, a player from Wydad Casablanca, expressed a heartfelt message to South African coach Rulani Mokouina following the club’s announcement granting him exceptional leave that extends beyond the end of the season, due to what it described as “significant psychological pressures” he has recently faced.
In a post shared on his official Instagram account, Rayhi conveyed his deep gratitude to Coach Mokouina, stating, “I cannot thank you enough for what you have done for me, for the way you treated me, and for helping me become a better person and a better player. You are a wonderful human being and an amazing coach.”
The player emphasized that the South African coach made positive changes within the team, even if they weren’t apparent to everyone, adding, “You changed a lot within Wydad, even though people on the outside don’t realize that. Thank you for everything, and I wish you all the best in the future.”
Rayhi also praised the rest of the coaching staff, acknowledging their efforts, and wrote, “I would also like to thank the staff for their wonderful work. You all deserve the best.”
Wydad Casablanca’s management confirmed in an official statement that the contractual relationship with Coach Mokouina will officially end right after the conclusion of the current football season, fully respecting the terms of the contract signed between the two parties.
