Gold Prices Rise and Set a New Record

Gold prices soared to an all-time high today, Friday. Spot gold rose by 1% to reach $3,205.53 per ounce, hitting a historic peak of $3,217.43 earlier in the session, with gains exceeding 5% over the week.

Meanwhile, U.S. gold futures increased by 1.5% to settle at $3,226.50.

As for other precious metals, silver saw a 0.3% rise in spot trading, reaching $31.28 per ounce, while platinum climbed 0.1% to $938.35. Palladium rose by 0.8%, recording $915.75.
