Gold Price Hits All-Time High
The global gold price has reached its highest level in history on Wednesday, April 16, 2025, during early trading, driven by a decline in the US dollar and escalating trade tensions between Washington and Beijing, as well as increasing concerns about a slowdown in global economic growth.
Today, the global gold price rose by 1.7% in spot transactions, reaching $3,281 per ounce, according to Reuters data, while US futures jumped by 1.9%, surpassing the $3,300 mark for the first time ever.
