Wydad Athletic Club will miss the services of defender Jamal Harkass in their last two matches of the Botola Pro – Division One “Inwi,” against Chabab Soualem and Nahda Zemamra, due to a suspension resulting from accumulated yellow cards.
Harkass received his eighth yellow card of the season during the “Clasico” match against the Royal Armed Forces, which took place last Saturday, resulting in his absence for two matches according to league regulations. Coach Mohammed Amin Benhashim is expected to rely on alternative options to fill Harkass’s spot, including the defender Ayman Al-Dairani alongside Abdel-Monem Boutouil in central defense.
Wydad achieved a valuable victory against the Royal Armed Forces, winning by two goals to one in round 28, a win that allowed them to close the gap with the military team in the standings. Wydad currently occupies third place with 48 points, while the Royal Armed Forces sit in second with 51 points, increasing the significance of the final two matches in determining the top positions in the league table.
