On Tuesday, April 7, 2026, the Popular Bank signed two cooperation agreements in Marrakech, on the sidelines of GITEX Africa 2026.
The first agreement, concluded between the bank and the International University of Rabat, aims to facilitate access and funding for students, particularly from Africa, by providing suitable financial solutions, along with academic coaching and supporting services, to help students pursue their studies under better conditions.
The second agreement was signed between the Popular Bank and Huawei, with the aim of accelerating the pace of digital transformation within the bank through the adoption of modern technological solutions, including artificial intelligence, cloud computing, enhancing cybersecurity, and developing digital infrastructures.
These agreements reflect the bank’s commitment to supporting education, fostering innovation, and embracing digital transformation, thereby contributing to the development of banking services and sustainable development at both national and continental levels.
