French Minister Delegate for Artificial Intelligence and Digital Technology, Anne Loheinef, is visiting Morocco today, Monday, to participate in the activities of the GITEX Africa exhibition.
The purpose of this visit is to highlight the dynamism of the French technological ecosystem in Morocco and to emphasize the resilience of digital partnerships between the two countries, reflecting the growing interest in collaboration in the fields of digitization and innovation.
GITEX Africa is considered one of the premier technology events on the continent, bringing together international players in innovation and digitization, as well as decision-makers, to discuss the challenges of digital transformation on both regional and international levels.
The French minister is expected to participate in the official opening ceremony of the exhibition and attend a seminar titled “Redefining Sovereignty in the Age of Artificial Intelligence,” in addition to a conference on “Artificial Intelligence and Cybersecurity,” organized by specialized professional entities in the digital field.
The visit will also include bilateral meetings with officials and private sector representatives, as well as exchanges of views with stakeholders in the French digital ecosystem regarding prospects for digital partnership between Morocco and France, and opportunities for business development in this sector.
