Morocco and Egypt have strengthened their cooperation ties by signing new memorandums of understanding in the fields of youth and culture, during the first session of the Morocco-Egypt Coordination and Follow-up Committee, which took place today in Cairo.
In a move aimed at expanding youth cooperation, Morocco’s Minister of Youth, Culture, and Communication, Mohamed Mehdi Bensaid, signed a memorandum of understanding with his Egyptian counterpart, Johar Nabil. This agreement focuses on enhancing exchanges among youth and developing joint programs to serve this demographic in both countries.
In terms of culture, the meeting also witnessed the signing of another memorandum with Egypt’s Minister of Culture, Gehan Zaki, alongside an executive program for cultural cooperation, aimed at establishing a solid foundation for partnerships in the fields of arts, festivals, and joint cultural initiatives.
This initiative comes as part of both countries’ desire to open new horizons for practical cooperation, whether in youth or culture, thereby strengthening historical ties and providing opportunities for exchange and mutual experience.
