A French minister has confirmed that Morocco is solidifying its position as an emerging technological hub, highlighting its strategic orientation towards serving the African continent and enhancing innovation dynamics within it.
The government official, speaking on the sidelines of her participation in the GITEX Africa events, explained that the kingdom has successfully built an integrated digital ecosystem that combines modern infrastructure with skilled young talents, making it a suitable platform for developing technological solutions aimed at Africa.
She added that Morocco has managed to attract significant investments in digitization and artificial intelligence in recent years, benefiting from its geographical location and growing economic ties with several African countries, alongside its political stability.
The minister emphasized the importance of the partnership between Morocco and France in the fields of innovation and technology, considering that these relationships open promising horizons for startups and support the transfer of expertise and experiences.
According to the spokesperson, this orientation reflects Morocco’s ambition to play a pivotal role in digital transformation across the continent through projects and initiatives aimed at enhancing technological integration and stimulating the digital economy.
