The Ministry of Solidarity and Social Integration highlighted its efforts to enhance the kingdom’s achievements in promoting women’s status through a series of programs and initiatives aimed at supporting their economic and social empowerment, while firmly establishing the principles of equality and equal opportunities.

On the occasion of International Women’s Rights Day, the ministry emphasized that Morocco has accumulated a significant number of achievements for women in recent years, thanks to legislative reforms and public policies aimed at improving their conditions and encouraging their participation in various fields of life.

The ministry clarified that its interventions fall within the framework of implementing national strategies aimed at protecting women’s rights and combating all forms of discrimination and violence. This includes developing mechanisms to assist women in difficult situations and enhancing legal and psychological support services.

Furthermore, the ministry is focused on supporting women’s economic integration through programs for economic and social empowerment, promoting women’s entrepreneurship, and providing training and qualification opportunities that contribute to improving their financial independence and enhancing their presence in the job market.

The ministry noted that these efforts align with Morocco’s international commitments to protect women’s rights and promote gender equality, alongside ongoing work to develop public policies that ensure the consolidation of achieved gains and make further progress in this field.
