“Citizen Health at the Heart of Reforms: Chouki Reveals Party Priorities”
Mohamed Chouki, president of the National Rally of Independents, asserted during the national forum on “the health system and social protection” that the choice of health as the starting point for future endeavors was not arbitrary, but reflects the party’s understanding of health as a fundamental pillar of the social state, ensuring the protection of citizens and improving their quality of life.
Chouki explained that the ongoing health reforms are based on multiple strategic axes, including the development of hospital infrastructure, strengthening university hospitals and local healthcare facilities, improving human resources and attracting talent, introducing a new governance model, and promoting digitization. Additionally, there are legislative reforms that lay the necessary legal foundations for restructuring and modernizing the sector.
He indicated that these reforms aim to enhance the quality of health services and achieve a tangible impact on citizens’ lives, while continuing to develop policies and regularly assess their outcomes to ensure sustainability and effectiveness.
