The president of the Sporting Association of Kénitra, Hakim Doumo, has paid three months’ overdue salaries to the team’s players, a decisive move to ease the tension that has marked the club’s atmosphere in recent weeks.
This decision came in response to the escalating demands from the players regarding the settlement of their financial dues, which negatively impacted the team’s concentration. Following the payment of these dues, a sense of stability has gradually returned within the squad.
In this context, the Kénitra players resumed their training today under the guidance of the new coach, Miri, as they prepare for the upcoming match against Wydad de Fès.
This encounter is scheduled to take place on Sunday at the Grand Stadium in Fès, starting at 6 PM, posing a significant test for Kénitra as they seek to regain their footing for the remainder of the season.
The club’s management hopes that the return of financial stability and the resumption of training will enhance the team’s performance in the upcoming competitions.
