Morocco Post announced today in Tangier the issuance of a commemorative stamp marking the hosting of the 58th session of the United Nations Economic Commission for Africa and the African Finance Ministers and Economic Planning Conference (COM2026), scheduled from March 28 to April 3, 2026.
The release was presented during an official ceremony attended by several officials, including the Director General of Morocco Post, Amin Benjelloun Ttoumi, alongside prominent members of the Economic Commission for Africa, notably Mama Keta and Hanan Mursi, as well as representatives from the Moroccan Ministry of Economy and Finance.
This continental event is held under a theme that focuses on innovation, utilizing data and modern technologies to support economic transformation in Africa. The stamp reflects the conference’s identity through a design that combines symbols of the African continent with elements inspired by Moroccan heritage, symbolizing unity and cooperation among member states.
Morocco Post confirmed that this issuance is part of its efforts to accompany significant events hosted by the kingdom and to promote the image of Morocco and Africa through postal stamps, which serve as a symbolic representation of the cultural and developmental dimensions of these international milestones.
