Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu visited the site of Iranian missile strikes in Beit Shemesh, near Jerusalem, today after Iranian-affiliated media claimed the missiles targeted his residence.
The missile strikes resulted in the deaths of seven individuals and injuries to approximately 30 others, according to the Magen David Adom emergency service, which confirmed it transported the wounded to hospitals for treatment.
This visit comes amid escalating tensions between Israel and Iran, following a surge in hostile statements and threats from Tehran directed at Israeli officials.
An Israeli government official stated that Netanyahu’s visit aimed to assess the extent of the damage and reassure local residents, emphasizing that the government is closely monitoring the situation to ensure the safety of civilians.
