The Executive Office of the Youth Organization of the Authenticity and Modernity Party held its meeting on Wednesday, February 18, at the central headquarters of the organization, chaired by Abderrahim El Malki. The agenda focused on various national, organizational, and political issues in a context marked by internal challenges and fast-paced regional and international changes.
The meeting commenced with the members conveying their warmest congratulations and best wishes to His Majesty King Mohammed VI and to the entire Moroccan people on the occasion of the blessed month of Ramadan, praying for its return to the kingdom with increased security, stability, and progress.
The office addressed the latest developments in the territorial issue, following recent discussions held in Madrid under United Nations auspices and at the invitation of the United States. The members praised Morocco’s diplomatic dynamism and the efforts made to advance the renewed autonomy plan.
The youth organization reaffirmed its steadfast position in support of all initiatives aimed at safeguarding the kingdom’s territorial integrity and protecting its national achievements. The current stage requires comprehensive mobilization and continuous vigilance to keep pace with diplomatic movements and enhance realized gains.
In another matter, the office discussed the repercussions of the extraordinary weather disturbances that affected the kingdom over the past two months, particularly in the Gharb and Loukkos regions, and the resulting material and human damages.
The attendees praised the measures taken following the declaration of the provinces of Larache, Kenitra, Sidi Kacem, and Sidi Slimane as disaster zones, appreciating the anticipated direct support for the affected populations, alongside infrastructure rehabilitation programs. They expressed the youth’s readiness to actively engage in solidarity efforts and support reconstruction operations.
On the organizational front, the Executive Office positively noted the ongoing dynamism of the organization, commending the success of the regional conference for the Marrakesh-Safi region, and confirming the continuation of holding the remaining regional conferences according to the predetermined schedule, thereby strengthening institutional building and reinforcing principles of rotation and internal democracy.
The office also reviewed a presentation by Abdullah Aeid on the organization’s communication strategy. The members acknowledged the growing presence of the organization’s president and Executive Office members in public media and various social media platforms, seeing this presence as a reflection of the youth’s vitality and a means to strengthen trust with young people, as well as enhance engagement in public discussions regarding current issues.
Politically, the office emphasized the importance of increasing youth participation in public discourse and the upcoming electoral processes, in line with the royal directives calling for empowering youth and involving them in positions of responsibility, as well as with the strategic direction of the party that supports young talents.
The organization expressed pride in the ongoing dialogue between the party leadership and youth regarding the elections, aiming to establish an institutional bridge with the bodies responsible for reviewing candidacies within the party, providing aspiring candidates with a responsible institutional space to advocate for their nominations and strengthen mutual trust within the organization.
The Executive Office confirmed its readiness to advocate within the party for youth wishing to participate in the upcoming elections, reiterating its commitment to be their voice within the party structures and to translate the declared will to encourage political participation among youth.
