The Moroccan Federation of Communication Consulting Agencies Launches the Moroccan Edition of the “Young Lions 2026” Competition
The Moroccan Federation of Communication Consulting Agencies has officially launched the Moroccan edition of the “Young Lions 2026” competition today during a press conference dedicated to presenting the details of this initiative, organized under the auspices of the Ministry of Youth, Culture, and Communication.
This event aims to establish the “Young Lions Morocco” competition as a reference point for creativity that showcases the talents of young Moroccans and their societal role, while simultaneously reinforcing the professional federation’s status as a legitimate and reference entity in structuring, representing, and promoting the communication and media sector in the Kingdom.
The competition targets young professionals aged thirty and under, whether they work in communication consulting agencies, for advertisers, in media, or as freelancers. Through this initiative, the federation seeks to encourage various components of the system to actively engage in this project, making the competition a practical lever for skill development and encouraging agencies and brands to support and accompany young talents.
This year’s edition includes five main categories: print, digital media, journalism, public relations, and marketing. The federation expressed pride in partnering with the Moroccan Association of People with Disabilities, as the competition topics will center around social issues related to this partnership, ensuring that creative works resonate with strong societal themes that require high levels of creativity and genuine commitment to responsibility.
This initiative is based on the belief that creativity reaches its peak when it is harnessed to address real challenges. Participating in “Young Lions Morocco” means engaging in an experience based on the highest international standards of creativity and joining the official framework of the global Cannes Lions Festival, in addition to being an intensive and enriching experience filled with learning and challenges.
Participants will be required, within each of the five categories, to present creative works that respond to real issues concerning the Moroccan Association for the Disabled, the official partner for this edition, aiming to mobilize creativity to serve genuine social causes and create a tangible and sustainable impact.
Registration for the competition began on January 29, 2026, and will continue until February 28, with the official theme to be revealed on March 6, and the final deadline for submissions set for the 8th of the same month at 11:59 PM.
Winners will be announced on March 16, 2026, with special training sessions scheduled between June 1 and June 12, in preparation for the anticipated international competition during the last week of June 2026.
