Kenitra: Dismissal of the Regional Director of Culture After 12 Years of Stagnation
Reliable sources have informed Express TV that the Ministry of Youth, Culture, and Communication has dismissed the Regional Director of the Ministry of Youth, Culture, and Communication – Cultural Sector in the Kenitra region from his position after nearly 12 years of service, assigning him to the central administration in Rabat.
The sources explained that the dismissal was due to the director’s failure to contribute any significant additions to the sector in the region, as he did not keep pace with the cultural movements in other regions, resulting in a noticeable stagnation in local cultural activities and initiatives.
The ministry will open applications for this position in the coming days, in a move aimed at reviving the cultural scene in Kenitra and encouraging youth and civil society participation.
Despite some initiatives that the director participated in during his tenure, his performance evaluation was considered limited compared to the developments achieved by other Moroccan regions in the cultural field.
