Lawyer for Achraf Hakimi confirms: The accusations are baseless and his innocence will be proven in court

In a new development regarding the legal proceedings involving Moroccan international Achraf Hakimi, his lawyer, Fanny Colin, stated that the defense team is fully prepared to engage in the legal battle, expressing confidence that the truth will emerge in court.

Colin asserted that the referral to the criminal court “is based solely on the statements of one individual without any material evidence,” noting that the complainant refused to undergo medical examinations or DNA tests, and did not allow any examination of her phone, while also withholding the name of a key witness.

The lawyer added that two psychological assessments confirmed the complainant’s lack of clarity regarding the alleged events, as well as the absence of any signs of post-traumatic stress, raising “numerous questions about the credibility of the account” according to the defense.

Colin addressed what she described as the complainant’s attempt to conceal messages in which she allegedly planned to “rob Mr. Hakimi,” emphasizing that the defense team will present all these elements before the court during the trial sessions.

Sports circles are keenly awaiting the outcome of the case, with Hakimi’s defense steadfastly asserting his presumed innocence until the final verdict is issued, while fully respecting the judicial procedures.
