Arrest of Three Foreigners on Suspicion of Involvement in Stone-Throwing Clash in the Old Medina of Casablanca

Three Foreigners Arrested on Suspicion of Involvement in Stone-Throwing Incident in the Old Medina of Casablanca

The Casablanca Security Authority swiftly intervened following the circulation of a video on social media showing a group of individuals engaging in a stone-throwing altercation in the public streets of the Old Medina.

Investigations by the police revealed that the incident occurred on February 14. Officers from the Anfa Police District managed to arrest three individuals suspected of being involved in the altercation. The detainees are from Sub-Saharan Africa.

The suspects have been subjected to judicial questioning by the police under the supervision of the relevant public prosecutor’s office to uncover all circumstances surrounding the incident and determine legal responsibilities.
